Mission of your Algebra Seminar Teachers
The goal of the course is to offer students valuable, mathematical
problem-solving experiences while emphasizing critical thinking,
communication, and cooperation. The course has been designed to prepare
students for success in college, careers, and daily life in the 21st century.
It also prepares students for the Maryland Mathematics High School Assessment
covering Algebra and Data Analysis. We cover topics from Algebra,
Probability, Statistics, and Functions while focusing on and benefiting from
the use of technology through computers and graphing calculators.All students
who take this course are required to pass the High School Assessment on
Algebra I and Data Analysis so they can graduate.
