I graduated from Earlham College (Richmond, Indiana) with a B.A. in German
and a minor in Secondary Education. I spent 6 months studying in (West)
Berlin, Heidelberg and Vienna, Austria. I have taught in Howard County for
more than 20 years. My family and I have lived in Columbia for 35 years. I
teach piano lessons at home in the afternoons and enjoy all kinds of music.
Tennis and reading are my favorite activities outside school.

I hope students will work hard to master the basic vocabulary and structures
of the German language, enjoy learning about the people and cultures of
German-speaking nations and keep an open mind when faced with something new
and different.
