Dear Howard HS Community,
In an effort to better prepare our students for a successful 2010-2011 school
year, the mathematics department has developed a summer review packet for each
of our math classes offered here at Howard. It is our intention that the
students will work on the problems in the packet prior to the start of the new
school year. Teachers will review these problems, along with other examples,
during the first week of school to refresh prerequisite skills needed for
success in the class.
The math summer reviews have been added to the Howard High School webpage. A
link is on the Home page under News Flash. The packets can be downloaded
directly by following this link to the student page:

Our expectations are that every Howard student will visit the site listed
above, print the packet that corresponds to the course in which they will be
enrolled in 2010-2011, and work on the problems prior to the first day of
school. Every teacher will give an assessment on this material sometime
during the first two weeks of the school year. If you do not have the ability
to print the packet, please visit the guidance department over the summer;
there will be a limited number of packets available.
