Tuesday September 14-no school-Election Day

 

Ms. Blauvelt's Class
Currently we are reading short stories from Ray Bradbury's The Illustrated Man. Students were also given their vocabulary books on Wednesday.  They have vocabulary assignments due to us on Friday of every week. Also each week two students will be presenting the vocab unit for the week.  The students were given their dates and assignments on Wednesday, October 9.  We will begin to read Catcher in the Rye in approximately 2 weeks.



Mrs. Hamilton's Class

We have begun teaching phrases and clauses.  The first phrase they are practicing in appositive phrases. We will begin working on vocabulary units on Friday.  Each week there will be a different unit of words they will be learning. The first book we will read will be Animal Farm.
