Must my child take theatre class in order to perform in the school's plays?
Absolutely not! The casting of the two main stage productions has nothing to
do with the theatre classroom.

Can I help with the shows?
We'd love to have as much help as possible. Students need only take a walk to
the theatre classroom and speak with Mr. Davis. Parents, send an email and let
us know what you'd like to do to help, be it selling tickets, advertising,
helping to raise funds and donations, or anything else. WE LOVE HELP!

What about the talent show, "Showcase"?
Although Mr. Davis helps with Showcase, and even appears every year in it, it
is Mr. Rick Lawrence who runs the show and the rehearsals.

What if the home printer breaks while printing out a paper?
It seems that "my printer broke" has taken the place of the old stand-by, "the
dog ate my homework." Should the printer "break," I expect the student to
either transfer the information onto a CD, or email it to me, at
mitch_davis@hcpss.org

Is there a long-term writing project for English?
Yes. The county insists that students in English classes write a research
paper every year. The assignment will be given to the students in February,
and will be due in the middle of May.
