Mr. Robert Keddell

Bob Keddell is a highly motivated and veteran teacher who is entering his 39th
year in education.  His teaching includes years in New York State, over 20
years in Howard County Public Schools, and six years he spent on loan to
Baltimore City to help begin the city's Ingenuity Project for math and science
acceleration.  Bob's commitment to education includes the fact that he is a
professor of graduate education at Johns Hopkins University and the advisor to
the Graduate Level Teacher Leadership Certificate Program at Johns Hopkins. 
Other education credits include his "Taken From the Native Lands" curriculum
he wrote for Chicago Public Schools, and his summer work with teachers,
students and families for the Smithsonian Institution.  This body of work
features consultant services for the Museum of Natural History, teacher
training in Panama and summer service as Director of summer camps for the
Smithsonian Associates and Smithsonian Journeys units.   Bob lives in Columbia
with his wife Karen and is proud of his two daughters in the area, who have
graduated from  college and launched their careers in theater and nursing.
