Extra Credit Opportunity: “Go to the Movies”
Directions: Go to the movies and see the movie, ‘The Conspirator’. The movie
plays nationally starting on April 15, 2011. This is a movie about the Lincoln
Assassination in 1865.
Summary/Product: Write a Summary or create another project such as any
multimedia presentation that addresses the following questions.
1.) Present a brief summary of the movie
2.) Provide brief background of each main character/ historical actor
involved in the Lincoln Assassination (The Surratt Family, Booth, Lincoln,
Seward, etc.)
3.) Why is the movie called the ‘The Conspirator’? What’s the Big Deal?
