About The Library Media Specialist

	Mrs. Roepcke helped open Lime Kiln Middle School eleven years 
ago. She thinks the media center at LKMS is one of the most beautiful 
she has ever seen!  Previously, she worked as the media specialist at 
Patapsco Middle, Bushy Park Elementary, and a tiny little junior high 
school near Charlottesville, Virginia.  Her hobbies are reading and 
talking about books (of course), playing tennis, learning about 
technology, and daydreaming about visiting China, Australia, and almost any
other country. She claims that if she ever wins the lottery, she will travel
around the world with her husband and daughter - and then come back to Lime Kiln!

Objectives of the Media Center

	This space is begging for a jargon-filled paragraph, but the bottom line 
about our goals and objectives is this:  
	The LKMS Media Center strives to meet the informational needs of 
students and staff.  In addition, we work to develop life-long readers 
through the promotion of an outstanding collection of fiction and non-
fiction books. Lastly, we promise access to computers as well as 
computing assistance for school related projects and assignments.
