   BCR on "The Plainswoman" - 3 points according to county guidelines

   Descriptive Paragraph - 30 points total: 5 points each for
         - writing in ink
         - writing legibly
         - using an adjective to describe the person
         - having at least 8 sentences
         - having a great conclusion sentence
         - having a heading and a title
      Students were given 25 minutes to complete this assignment.
      Students were expected to work independently, without talking.
      Points were deducted for continued talking.
   
   Quiz on 4 Elements as each relates to "The Plainswoman":
       Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action
         (3 points for each)
