 What supplies are needed for English 9 and English 9H?
Coming prepared to class each day will help students succeed!  The following 
materials are required:

- A 1 or 2 inch binder exclusively for this class
- 5 dividers
- looseleaf paper
- 2 blue or black ink pens
- 1 highlighter
- A POSITIVE ATTITUDE

 What will Mrs. Rea provide?
Each student will be issued a copy of our textbook, Language of Literature 
Book 9.  Since students have access to a class copy, this textbook can 
remain at home.  

In addition, students will receive a grammar workbook and an Interactive 
Reader.  These workbooks will remain in the classroom unless an assignment 
requires them to go home with the student.

 What if I lose one of my workbooks?
Come see me if you need to purchase a new workbook.  The replacement cost is 
currently set at $7.

 How can I check my grades online?  Can my parents see them, too?
Students and parents have access to grades online.  To check grades, click 
on the "grades" link on this website.  This link will take you to the 
WebGrade site.  Select your period.  Input your student ID and use the last 
four digits of this number as your password.  It is very important for 
students to keep this number confidential since it accesses grades for most 
of your classes.

 How often are grades updated?
Grades are updated once a week, normally on Wednesdays.  Please get into the 
habit of checking weekly so you are aware of your progress in this class.

 I think I need a little extra help.  When is Mrs. Rea available?
I am happy to meet with students outside of classtime!  I am available 
before school, after school, and during Spartan Hour.  Check the "Teacher's 
Schedule" link for more specific information.  If these times do not work 
for you, simply contact me and we will work out another arrangement.
