About The Teacher

Mrs. Rea completed her Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature 
at the University of Maryland College Park.  Two years later, she earned her 
Masters in Library and Information Science from the same school.  After 
spending time working in a corporate setting, she decided that teaching is 
where she really belongs.  Mrs. Rea is excited to be returning to Laurel 
High School for her sixth year.

When Mrs. Rea is not at school, she enjoys spending time with her husband 
and young daughter.  The family enjoys traveling, taking walks, and working 
on projects around the house.  And, of course, Mrs. Rea spends plenty of 
time reading!
