This is my 13th year teaching at Old Mill High School, and I am happy
to say that I am teaching my absolute favorite topic -- Algebra II and
College Algebra. In the past, I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Math HL
1 (AB Calculus), Math HL 2, and Math SL, but my all-time favorite topic to
teach is Algebra II. While here at Old Mill I have had the opportunity to
meet some of the most fantastic students - mature, bright, funny, and truely
talented, and the students this year are no exception.
On a more personal note -- I have been married for 33 and we have two
children. Our little family has been growing and we now have three
granddaughters -- Saige (4 years), Madelyn (1 1/2 year), and Mia (1 year)
as of this writing and we are expecting another grandchild in February.
I am available for both parents and students to discuss progress in
classes after school, but my e-mail address is probably the easiest (and
quickest)way to contact me (elehrter@aacps.org). Please do not hesitate to
call on me if there are problems. I hope, in turn, that I can do the same.
I am available for after-school help every Tuesday and Wednesday, and will
try to fit in another help session leading up to a major chapter test.
During the "Plus-Period" (our Advisory Period) I am also available to help
students.
