Hi my name is Mrs. McDaniel. I have been teaching in Christian schools for
twenty years. I have taught grades Kindergarten through 5th. I am married and
have three children: Joelle 18, Josh 16, and Jared 12. Joelle graduated from
Open Bible last year, and will be a floating helper in the school this year.
Josh will be in 11th grade and Jared will be in 7th. We live on a small farm
in Northern Harford County where we raise six llamas: Sam, Ivana,
Cinnamon,Toby,Comet and a new baby who we've named Hope. We also have two
house cats named Maggie and Max and a dog named Daisy. I have been serving the
Lord for over 30 years and participated in all types of ministry. I sang and
led worship at my church for over 25 years. Currently my husband and I are
serving as associate Pastors at New Covenant Community Church in Bel Air while
planting a church in Havre deGrace, Maryland. I am looking forward to a great
year at Open Bible.
To see each student grow spiritually, physically emotionally, and socially.We
will focus this year to grow in wisdom, and stature, and in favor with God and
man. To see each student establish a relationship with the Lord as their Savior,
and then grow in that relationship through daily prayer and Bible reading. To
endeavor to put others first ,and learn to love one another unselfishly by
exemplifying true Christian Character. To encourage one another by maintaining
a respectful and courteous attitude in every situation. To develop each student
to his or her academic potential by encouraging them to do their best as they
work as unto the Lord, and to give Glory to God for every success. Finally, to
see them grow strong in their bodies by providing opportunities for physical
exercise.
