I am so excited about teaching 6th grade Earth Science again this year. I
am a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park with a BS in
Biology and General Science Education. I also have an MS from the College
of Notre Dame in Leadership in Teaching. I started teaching in 1991. I am
fascinated by everything I encounter and find that science is an exciting
way to explore it all. I hope to pass this passion on to my students by
teaching them to observe and explore their world by using good problem
solving strategies.
To develop a lifelong love of learning by thinking critically and solving
problems, evaluating scientific knowledge, and all the while looking for and
evaluating connections in and among our environment and ourselves.
