NASPE Calendar and Reflection Assignment

Each student is to complete a minimum of three activities per week from the calendar. You may modify some of the activities to meet space or equipment needs. Circle the activities you choose and have your parent/legal guardian sign or initial your calendar at the end of the month. The physical activity portion of the calendar is worth 24 points and will be recorded as a Process grade. At the end of the month (and once all activities have been performed), you will need to complete a Reflection Assignment. This assignment is worth 10 points and will be recorded as a Product grade. Your Physical Education teacher will post when each calendar assignment is due!! MODIFICATION EXAMPLES: If you do an activity such as bicep curls, but do not own weights, use a bag of beans or a can of soup as your handheld weight. If the day’s activity is to hike with a friend, modify it instead with a fast-paced walk with the dog. If the calendar says to play volleyball with family but you don’t have the equipment, play some other sport, like basketball or tennis or badminton.
