How much homework is there in Biology?

You should have homework about 4 nights per week in Biology. I
try very hard not to assign homework over the weekends but it may
occasionally happen. Your homework shouldn't take any longer
than 30 minutes to complete. If it does, we need to talk about
it!

Can I earn extra credit?

Generally, I do not offer extra credit in Biology. You will be
tested on mastery of content at the end of this course via the
High School Assessment in Biology so you need to LEARN it!

How is my grade calculated?

Grades are based on a points earned/points possible system. Keep
track of each assignment as it is returned and add the points up
as you go along.

How can I get extra help?

I'm available after school if you need extra help. Just let me
know the day before that you would like to stop by so that I can
be sure that I don't have any other appointments scheduled. The
school also has the SOAR program that meets after school on
Tuesdays...advance sign up in guidance is required.

Go to the grades page on this website. Type in your child's
student ID number, including the zeros. You will see a list of
each assignment and the grade they received on it. Grades will be
