Should my child be bringing home a textbook?

Both Pre-Calculus and College Algebra students should leave their textbook at home for homework.

Should my child have homework?

YES!  Students will have it every night unless it is the day before or of a major test.

How can I receive a progress report?

I give out progress reports a couple times a marking period.  Don't forget to use Parent Connect!  You 
can sign up in the office. The sign-up form is also available on
this site under Handouts.

Is the TI-83 Plus calculator really necessary?

YES!  We will use it in class and at home often throughout the 
year. If you are not able to purchase a calculator, please
contact me about renting a calculator. Rental agreement forms
can be found under "Handouts" on this site.

Is there after-school help available?

I will provide after-school help on an as-needed basis.  I am 
normally after school on Wednesdays and one other day a week. My
weekly availablity is posted in my classroom.

How is homework graded?

Homework is 20% of the marking period grade.  If work is not 
shown, NO CREDIT will be awarded. No credit will be given for
late work.
