About The Teacher

Mrs. Akers has a bachelors degree in Animal Science from UMCP and a masters degree in Technology 
Education from UMES.  She has taught science and technology education in both middle and high 
school.  She and her husband live in Carroll County with their many animals.  They enjoy motorcycle 
riding, dirt track racing, and camping.
