Students will be given daily addition and subtraction math drills to develop accuracy and speed. Please do not encourage counting on fingers. Children will learn to use different math strategies to solve problems. We will develop each of these throughout the year so that children will build their confidence.
*** Students will be working with addition and subtraction story problems throughout the year. They must always show a # sentence to solve! The class is enjoying the challenge and they love being detectives!
