Our 4's will begin Homework assignments once a week beginning in October.
Homework has two purposes:
1. To review or reinforce a skill learned in
in class.
2. To develop a sense of "responsibility" in young
children. They will be given a worksheet on Monday stamped
"HOMEWORK" and they should return it to school completed by
Wednesday or Friday of that same week.
Our 3's will begin once a week activity sheets by late December/early
January. Again,the same two purposes apply.
** Please do not stress over homework. The children will be able to do these
assignments on their own. They may need some guidance with directions. They
absolutely LOVE being like the "big kids" and doing homework!
