Welcome to 1st grade at St. Margaret School! This will be my eighth year
teaching, and I am looking forward to the learning and growth we
will all accomplish this year! I wanted to take this opportunity to tell a
little about myself.
I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in Management
Consulting and Sociology. Upon graduation, I knew my true calling was to be
a teacher, so I moved to Baltimore to begin the Operation Teachers Enlisted
to Advance Catholic Heritage (Operation TEACH) program. While in this
program, I taught 3rd grade at Holy Family School, lived in a faith-based
community, and pursued my Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from the College
of Notre Dame of Maryland.
During my time at St. Margaret, I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I am
thrilled to begin a new adventure with my 1st graders! I am always up for a
challenge, and I strive to be the best, most well-rounded teacher I can be.
I feel blessed to be part of a school that has provided me with so many
opportunities to grow.
I currently live in a condo in the heart of Canton, and I enjoy keeping my
life busy, spending time in the city with my wonderful friends. I enjoy
going to my neighborhood gym, and swimming as much as I can! I spend the
summer coaching a swim team in Millersville for the Central Maryland Swim
League. The highlight of my summers include traveling to the Outer Banks
with my whole family.
My top priority as an educator involves creating a classroom environment
that enables all learners. I believe in teaching the individual child, and
molding my students into hard-working, Christian people.
