Dear Kindergarten Parents,

Please join the St. Martin’s community for a lively St. Patrick’s celebration at the annual dinner-dance and auction this Saturday, March 13, from 6-11 p.m. in the school gym. This will be a great way to meet other St. Martin’s parents and parishioners.

Many school parents, parishioners, and merchants have donated an enormous array of baskets, gifts, home furnishings, sports goods, getaways, and services for the live and silent auctions. When bids are placed, only the highest bidder pays for the item.  Loosing bids have no cost!

Tickets are $25 for the dinner and the dance and can be purchased at school or at the door.  Please contact me if you would like to have tickets held for you at the door.

We hope you can attend our annual celebration. If not, come view all the auction items on Friday, March 12, from 5 – 8 p.m., or anytime Saturday during the day.  Also, you can place a sealed bid for any item, i.e., you can pre-bid on any items, and your bid will win if no one tops your bid.

I hope to see you at the dinner-dance on Saturday!

Thank you,

Mrs. Murphy

Happy New Year!

Here is a call for volunteers from our Homeroom Mother, Mrs. Bangit, for Catholic Schools Week.

Thank you,
Mrs. Murphy

Hello Kindergarten Parents!

Catholic Schools Week begins on Monday, February 1.  The Kindergarten class is responsible for finding volunteers to help with the events.

This is a great opportunity for parents who need more volunteer hours.

Please let Eliza Bangit know if you can volunteer for any of the following events.  You may contact Mrs. Bangit at ecn@georgetown.edu.

1)  Open House - Tuesday, February 2 from 9am - 1pm.

We need 4 parents to volunteer for this event.  You can choose to volunteer for an one hour (8am - 9am) to help set up.  However, if you can volunteer for a longer time period that would be most appreciated.

2)  Bingo - Wednesday, February 3 from 8:30am - 11:30am.

We need a total of 9 parents (3 parents per time period) to assist the younger children with their Bingo cards, and also with handing out prizes.  You can choose to volunteer in the following time periods:

8:30 - 9:30am

9:30 - 10:30

10:30 - 11:30

We would also appreciate it if you could provide us with items for prizes.  Nothing extravagant.  Simple toys and trinkets would more than suffice.

Thanks so much!
