6th grade students did an awesome job with their compare/contrast project for Moses!! We ended our unit on Thursday, February 14th - taking care to document what we learned, and making sure we answered any questions we still had. I think we all have a deeper appreciation for what the Moses was called to do by God, and just how difficult his "mission" was. Life is like that sometimes, and we have been talking a lot about vocations in our classes lately. Sometimes what you think you are supposed to do, and what God really wants you to do, are two different things.
We have to be open to the possibilities that He has a better plan.......
Up next - we will learn about the Israelites time in Canaan - everything from Joshua and the Battle of Jericho, to Judges and Kings, and everything in between. Bible story books will be added to, and we will continue to look at what God calls His people to do and how they respond.
One final item: our Lenten devotion as a school is to attend Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 2:30. Please join us if you can.
Our class will be choosing a class devotion on Friday, January 15th. This is something those who choose to, can participate in with other
classmates each week/day during the school day.
