We have arrived in Canada, and now that we have established the answer to
the question, "Don't they only speak French?", we are moving on to learn
about Canada's governmental system and their economy.
Beginning in March, 6th grade will turn our attention to Mexico and then to
the Latin American countries. As always, we continue to use our knowledge
about the United States history, culture, government and economy as a
reference point when we learn about other countries. HOw are we alike, how
are we different?
We are always asking ourselves, " What do I want to know about this
country?" This question helps guide our thinking.............
