child's folder every day
since important information will be sent home for you to look at, including
graded assignments.

homework assignments. This

check and sign your
child's agenda book. The agenda may have notes from the teacher. Parents may
also communicate
with their child's teacher in the agenda book.
Reading Logs
Reading logs are a required part of the fifth grade curriculum and are a part
of student's reading and
work habits grades. Students should read every evening for 30 minutes and make
a recording of it on
their logs. Parents should sign the log each night. Logs will be collected at
the end of each week.

assignment on the top of the paper. Papers without names on them will not
receive credit. Homework
is due EVERY morning. Homework assignments are recorded in their agenda book.
Agenda books
were handed out the first day of school. Please check the agenda book daily to

textbook home for any reason, it must be returned to school the next day so
the child can use it for
classroom instruction.
