4/16/09
Beauty and the Beast is completely sold out for Thursday and Friday night!
But two FRONT ROW tickets, plus parking will be auctioned off on Saturday!
For the third year in a row, the annual spring performance is sold out!
This year was the fastest ever sell out, with tickets completely sold in 48

row tickets (with a reserved parking spot) for the Friday (5/15) night

Heroes this Saturday. However, if you are unable to attend, we are happy to
take absentee bids. Absentee bidding allows an auction volunteer to
represent your bid at the auction and the tickets will go to the highest
bidder. If you would like leave an absentee bid, please email Martha
Schneider (mschneider@harbourschool.org) with the maximum amount you would
like to bid. Minimum opening bid is $20.00. All absentee bids must be
received no later then 10:00 A.M. April 18th, 2009. Don¹t miss this
opportunity to have premium seating, a reserved parking space and the
opportunity to see why all of the critics believe that the Harbourdrome
players are the most talented actors around!

Auditions for Cookie Night went very well. It is amazing to see the
progress the students have made.
Many of them who just a year ago were so nervous and quiet walked into this
audition with
confidence.
They projected their voices and used great expression. We even had some
students auditioning for
the
first time who showed a lot of talent. I was very impressed. I look
forward to casting each student
in a
role where he/she can really shine. Casting information and scripts will be
handed out before the
end
of the month. Rehearsal schedules will follow soon after that. Here we go
again! :) Thanks for all
the
support you give to your students in their performing arts endeavors!

Friday's afterschool rehearsal is going to be a big one. The first with
almost all of the cast there. We have a lot to accomplish, so I look
forward to seeing you there.
2/24/07
There have been lots of questions about costumes for Fiddler. Here is the
information I can give you at this time.
I am going to send home specific costume letters by mid-March. Some pieces
will be rented (ex: a specific hat) and some will be brought from home (ex:
black pants, white button down or ankle-lenght skirt and blouse). I am still
figuring out what will work in the budget. The letter will give you all the
details. They will need to have the costumes to show me at the rehearsal on
Friday, April 20th. That way, there will be time before the dress
rehearsals to get something else if a piece doesn't work.
2/23/07
After school Fiddler rehearsals have begun. Reminder emails will be sent
before each rehearsal. Check your schedule to see if you are required to
attend!
