Ms. Prugh grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland, and is very excited to have recently moved back to the
Baltimore area! Ms. Prugh has always had a love of performing, and took part in local productions
throughout her childhood. For high school, she attended the Baltimore School for the Arts as a vocal
music major. She then received a Bachelor of Music degree from Chicago's Northwestern University,
where he was a voice major and a member of the music theatre certificate program. Ms. Prugh has
also received a Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music, where she was a vocal
performance major once again, and took part in many operatic and musical theatre productions. She
has also taken education coursework on learning disabilities at American University.
Professionally, Ms. Prugh has extensive experience as both a teacher and professional performer. In
the Maryland area, she has served as the elementary school music and drama club teacher for the
Gibson Island Country School, and was also previously the lower school music teacher at the Lab
School of Baltimore. Ms. Prugh has also taught private voice and piano lesons for several years in
both the Chicago and Baltimore areas. Ms. Prugh has also had the opportunity to perform in many
professional musical productions, shows, and concerts, and these experiences have allowed her to
travel to over 25 countries all over the world. Ms. Prugh is thrilled to be a staff member at the
fabulous Harbour School, and to be able to share her love of the performing arts with her students!
