April 15-20 Assignment: (Dirt)
Here is a weekend assignment for you.  Mr. Cole is giving you two
Ziploc bags.  Over the weekend, find two very different kinds of
places to scoop dirt from.  The two dirts should have a different
appearance from each other.  Write down on the index card, where you
got each sample of dirt from.  You don�t need much dirt in each bag. 
If a cup is eight ounces, perhaps two ounces of dirt would be enough.
 Bring your dirt (or soil) sample in on Monday.  We will use our
scientific skills of observation to study it.
