Words of Wisdom from Mr. Cole

The key secret in the transition from primary to intermediate, from second to third grade, in reading is to go back to the text and double check your answer.  Don't just "remember" the answer.  The text is progressively getting more complicated, more difficult.  You need to check your answers. Literally touch them in the book. Make sure you are correct before you circle or write.  If you do this consistently, you will find your work being most successful.
