Nightly Writing Journal Writing Journal for November 2 Monday- Free Write Tuesday- Spelling Choice Wednesday- Describe your favorite restaurant and why you like it so much. Thursday- No writing. No school on Friday. Remember, you can always do Free Write. If you do, send Mr. Cole digital pictures for the newspaper. Spelling/Saxon tests on Thursday. End of the marking period is on Friday. Mon. Oct. 12- Free Write Tues. Oct. 13- Spelling Choice Wed. Oct. 14- Describe something that you used to be afraid of but aren’t any more. Thurs. Oct. 15- No homework. Remember you can do Free Write any night you have a very cool topic to write on. Mr. Cole loves to read about interesting topics. Here are some possible ideas from the Great Author's Creativity Bag: You make a wish upon a star and then wake up the next morning finding out it came true. Tell about it. What is the most enjoyable place you have ever been. Describe it. Think about a movie you have seen recently. What did you like about it? What didn't you like about it? Happiness is..... Write a story and give it the title: "Green". You fall asleep and wake up a hundred years from now. You haven't changed but the world has. Describe what you see and do.
