About The Teacher

Mr. Cole has been teaching since dinosaurs ruled the earth.  He has mostly taught third and 
fourth grades.  He is very excited to have the opportunity to work with second graders.  He has 
a masters in Teacher Leadership and a second masters in Technology for the Classroom. He 
really enjoys computers.  He strongly believes that education is a partnership between parents 
and teachers. He looks forward to working with the second grade community  and having an 
exciting year of learning.

Mission For The Class

This is the mission statement from last year's group of students.  We will be making a mission 
statement this year as well.   

Our mission for the 2006-07 school year is to keep improving, keep growing. We will improve in our 
academics, our behavior, and our knowledge. Each month we will have fewer behavior dots. Each month 
we wil increase our reading minutes. Each semester we will get better grades.  We will only go in one 
direction, and that is the "better direction".  We realize no one is perfect. But we will keep working hard 
at becoming better and better at everything we do.  This is our commitment. This is our mission.
