As we approach the halfway point of the quarter, things are really picking up
in America's Past. Students are now taking their States Quiz every other
week. The next quiz will be Thursday (10/15). So far, we have had four
students master the locations of all 50 states! We will have more and more
each time we try. Keep studying!
Students are now studying how Europeans (the English, French, and Spanish)
colonized North America and interacted with the native peoples. G/T students
just finished their first project, one in which they researched a Native
American tribe and presented their learning in a creative way.
Progress Notes are sent home every other Friday. The next will come home on
October 15th - a Thursday due to no school on Friday. These should be
signed and returned to school. Coach class is taking place every Thursday
from 3:00-4:00. Permission slips are on this website and available in my
class.
