Past to Present: Glue in a newspaper/ magazine article that relates to the
unit being studied. Write 5-7 sentence explanation of the article and how it
relates to the classes content.

Quoted: Glue in or copy a portion of a PRIMARY source from the unit being
studied. Write a 5-7 sentence explanation of the quote and place it into
historical context.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words: Glue in a visual (painting or picture)
that relate to the unit that is being studied in the class. Write a 5-7
sentence explanation of the visual and how it relates to the unit that is
being studied in class.

I've Been There: Visit a historic site that relates to the unit being studied
in class. Write a 5-7 sentence explanation about your visit to the museum or
site, and how it related to the class content.

In My Opinion: Each week, there will be a "Quote of the Week" posted on the
school news. Copy the quote into your interactive notebook. Write a 5-7
sentence of your interpretation on the quote.
