Use these links for preparing for your argument writing course in Reading.
For Parents: These sites are prerequisites to your child's course and academic
success in his/her 8th grade year. This is because it is an addition to the
curriculum for all classes.
This is an excellent site where you can ameliorate your knowledge
and ability to write argumentatively. It will also put you ahead of the curb
in many of your other classes as it is on the curriculum and strongly recommended.
Argument Writing Center
This site gives an overview or argument writing. It gives
guidelines for all the components of a successful and effective argumentative
writing piece. If you really want your claims to have an impact on the reader,
this website would be a great place to start.

This is another very helpful website. This also includes specific
components. Be sure to check this out!
Another Helpful Study Guide
This will extend your understanding of Argument Writing. It
will also help you further your writing skills, because it explains
not only the basics and how to get started, but how to keep going
and how to ENHANCE the flair during Reading class.
