There are many instructional seminars offered by the GT program. It is not
necessary to be in GT classes to participate in all of the seminars. Please
listen to the morning TV show for more information.
All seminars will be advertised on the morning news show.
Congratulations to the Advanced Debate team who won the debate on year-round
schooling against Mount View Middle School. The students did an amazing job
especially with the new cross fire component added this year. We are looking
forward to the spring debate.
Our Voice is seeking literary submission for The Howard County Middle School
Literary Magazine. The magazine accepts original poetry, fiction and
non-fiction. Submissions are open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Literary
entries will be evaluated based on originality, creative use of language, and
distinctive voice. Selected writing will be published in the 2010 edition of
Our Voice.
Submission Requirements:
All submissions should be the original work of the student.
Submissions should be carefully drafted, revised, and edited for publication.
All content should be appropriate for school.
An Our Voice cover sheet must accompany each entry. The cover sheet can be
found in the GT room. See Mrs. Spillman
Entries are due JANUARY 13th.
