Research Class
The middle school G/T research curriculum (Course 6945) is designed for
advanced-level learners who participate in GT math and two or three other GT
content area classes.Students are recommended by the fifth grade teachers and
the elementary G/T resource teachers based on their ability and work ethic.
The G/T Resource Teacher will implement this curriculum. This course is
offered during the second, third and fourth quarter. Students are expected to
develop an authentic independent research investigation during the class and
continue their research independently throughout fourth quarter. Students will
present their work at the LKMS Enrichment Fair on May 17, 2012.
