How can I volunteer?

We are currently looking for volunteers to take over recess and
lunch. We would need two volunteers per day, to arrive at 10:50
am and finish around 12:15 pm. This will enable the teacher and
aide to enjoy a break each day and come back refreshed! All
volunteers must have certification from the Archdiocese of
Washington, D.C.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for you to volunteer
at parties/celebrations and field trips throughout the year.
Keep an eye open for notes home!

What is the system for washing the cot sheets?

Each child received a fitted sheet with his/her name on it. Each
Friday, we will send this sheet home for laundering; please
return it each Monday. The school provides one extra sheet for
each child, and we use this extra sheet whenever necessary.

Is there a way to heat up my child's lunch?

No. We're sorry, but there are very few microwaves in the school
and a large student population. If your child is a picky eater,
the best way to keep a hot lunch hot is with a Thermos. And
those freezer packs really keep a cold lunch cold!
