What is the Learning Together Program?
The RECC is a program designed for children with developmental delays that also accepts children in
the Learning Together Program as peers that learn side by side with the RECC students. There is a
high ratio of teachers to students. There is a classroom teacher a paraprofessional to support the
teacher and there may be a speech-language therapist, occupational therapist or physical therapist
in the classroom as needed for the children with developmental delays. The program is open to
children two to four years of age that live in the Triadelphia Ridge school district or its feeder
districts which include Manor Woods E.S. or West Friendship E.S. There are a limited number of
positions available and there is usually a waiting list.

When can I apply for my child?
Applications are accepted during the month of February and can be picked up in the front office of
Triadelphia Ridge E.S. at the end of January and in February.
--------------------------------------
What does the application process involve?
Once applications are collected on the last school day of February they are reviewed and a letter is
sent out to parents to invite their child to a playgroup so that staff may meet the children to make
sure that it would be a good fit for each child. Often there is a lottery since we frequently have more
applicants and slots available. Parents are then notified in a letter. If a child is accepted then the
parents must register the child and information is provided about this process.
