HOW DID SR. SFERES SPEND THIS PAST SUMMER (2012)?
Sr. Sferes spent a great deal of time this summer updating/proofing/editing my teacher website. I also attended numerous summer theater productions (Hackmatack, City Theater, Kenenbunk's Shakespeare in the Park). I also spent quality time with my three cats (Keelan, Colby, Sawyer), my son and my uncle who was visiting all summer long from Florida.
WHO IS (WAS!) "WOLFIE?"
My Dad had a GREAT sense of humor. My Mom was afraid of dogs, and so for her birthday he went
to the local dog pound and literally "borrowed" a Belgian Shepherd to "give" her as a gift. The joke
played, my Dad had to return the dog. Unfortunately, it was Friday around 5:00p.m. and the Dog
Pound was closed for the weekend. To make a long story short, my two brothers, two sisters, and I
begged our parents to let us keep this "scary" looking dog. Wolfie lived with us for the next twenty-
plus years until he passed away of old age while I was in college.
