15 Grade 6 Final Week Learning Celebration!!!
We will celebrate the end of our six weeks (half trimester) together with a
"fiesta" in which we celebrate what we have learned. You may partner with a
student of your choice( I will help pair up students, too!) to produce a
major skit that incorporates some of our key learnings...learnings that you
will be able to use in REAL life when you meet someone from a Spanish-
speaking
country...OR when you travel to one of the many Spanish-speaking countries.
Here are some of the key phrases you will learn this tri-semester that you
can incorporate into your skit:
1) You say Hello: ¡Hola¡, ¡Buenos días¡, ¡Buenas tardes¡. ¡Buenas Noches¡
2) You ask each other how you are or how things are going:
´¿Cómo estás? ¡Estoy bien gracias! (muy bien, bien, más o menos (or
así-así), no muy bien, mal.
You then ask, ¿y tú? (and you?).....¿Cómo estás?
REMEMBER TO USE "Y tú?" (AND YOU?) WHEN RE-ASKING THE QUESTION!!!!
3) You find out each other's names: ¿Cómo te llamas? Me llamo "Paco."
4) You have difficulty understanding each other's first name and ask how to
