Rubrics

What is a "RUBRIC?"

A rubric is an assessment tool that lists the criteria for a piece of work. For example, in a piece of
writing in your Language Arts class, what often "counts" are purpose, organization, details, voice, and
mechanics. A rubric also breaks each of the criteria down into degrees of quality, ranging from poor to
excellent. Many of the projects I assign this year will include a rubric. The rubrics below are for
projects that may or may not be assigned throughout your two years of Spanish in grades 7 and 8.

Spanish Project Rubrics

To access this site first select "Dr." for title; first initial is "t" (lower case); last name is "sferes
(lower case); name modifier is "j" (lower case); zip code is "04005;" password is "password" (lower
case).

Below is a link to the "RUBRIC MACHINE." To access the Spanish project
rubrics, just type in "Spanish"; in the KEYWORD box and then click "Submit."
Scroll down and highlight the appropriate rubric. (Your teacher will let you
know what rubric we will be using for a given project.) Finally, click
"Access rubric." Use this tool to help you do a GREAT finished
project/skit/activity!
