I live in North Yarmouth, Maine with my husband, two children,
and two dogs. My daughter, Katie, graduated from the University of Michigan
in the spring of 2010 and landed a job in Dallas, Texas. My son is currently a
sophomore studying engineering at Clemson University. I lived all over the
United States while I was growing up, but for the past 24 years I've lived in
Maine. It is by far my favorite place to live. It is such a great place to
bring up children and appreciate the outdoors.
I have been teaching in the Falmouth School system for the past fourteen
years. I taught 5th grade for three years at Plummer- Motz and the rest of
the time was at Falmouth Middle School. Now I'm back at the Elementary School.
During my time in Falmouth, I received my masters degree in teacher leadership and
literacy through a cohort group I attended with many other Falmouth teachers.
I have one major hobby which is collage art. Aside from that, I like
gardening, cooking, biking, and going to the beach just to name a few. Most
of all I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
