3rd Grade Quality Work Expectations

 

Appearance

  *  Is done in pencil, not in pen.

  *  Uses my best handwriting.

  *  Mistakes are erased carefully and completely.

  *  No doodles, or messy papers  (Tears, dirt, crinkled papers, etc.)

 

Attitude

  *  Worked to carefully read, understand, and follow directions.

  *  I believe in my ability to learn.

  *  Is done with a good attitude.

  *  It’s my own work.

  *  I didn’t give up.

  *  I did my best.

  *  Others are not disturbed.

  *  I stayed on task.

 

Mechanics

  *  I made every sentence begin with a capital letter.

  *  I made every sentence end with a punctuation mark.

  *  I used my best spelling.
