Dear Fourth Graders and Parents,

After the holidays the fourth grade will be hosting a student teacher! She will be observing and
helping students for a period of time and then will gradually move toward more teaching time under my
supervision. I am very excited to welcome Mrs. Browning and I know you will too. She already has her
own experiences as a teacher since she is coming to us from a long term sub position in the
Camden/Rockport school system. The position involved teaching math and science to 8th grade
students. I'm sure she will be an asset to us for the next 8 weeks!

This web has been created in order to help you with homework, tests,
further research on topics that you are interested in, and so much more. I
hope it motivates you to be a student who takes charge of his/her learning by
looking beyond what we have time for in a 7 hr. school day. I also want to
inspire you to be a learner who can problem solve when it comes to homework.

If this sounds like you, you've come to the right place! Choose a subject
help link on the left column and you'll be on your way. I'm very proud of you
for being a proactive learner.

Don't forget to look at my notes under each subject to outline the
important ideas for the week. I've also listed the spelling and vocab words
for you in case you need them to study for the test! Everything is right here
at your finger tips. It is easy and safe and informative! Email me with
ideas for more information that would be helpful to you.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT: 4th Grade is still in need of Clorox Wipes, odor free dry erase
markers and tissues.
