Dear Parents,
I am not in the habit of furnishing homework assignments on my web page. One
reason is that I strongly believe that each student must develop the
responsibility of writing homework assignments and organizing the materials
that must be taken home. Another reason is that, if a child has forgotten a
book or assignment, it would be impossible to complete that assignment when
the necessary materials were left at school. Also, if an assignment were
mistakenly written due to a typo error for example, larger problems could
develop. Last but not least, there are days when I simply just run out of time!
I'm in hopes that you will be in agreement with me on this matter. I have
explained on my announcement page my method of assisting the children in
establishing organizational practices with their homework. If your child
develops a continued problem managing homework, I'll be happy to try a
solution that works for all concerned.
