| September 29-October 3: Our Letter of the Week is Ff. Please help your child fill
the letter bags with 5 or 6 things that begin with the letter Ff. Your
child should practice saying the names of these items at home. (It is much
like a Show and Tell.) Please notice which day yor child will share his/her
bag. (It changes every week.) The pattern for sharing is listed below.

**Nightly Reading Sheet. Please fill it out each night and return the
completed form on Friday.
**Handwriting Homework. (Five is the magic number! Name, upper case, lower
case, and pictures on the back!) Handwriting Homework is also due on
Friday.
**Letter of the Week Bag. These bags are color coded for return days.
Blue Bags/Tuesday
Green Bags/Wednesday
Red Bags/Thursday
Black Bags/Friday
Please try to help your child with the return day system. It helps to keep
things fair for everyone.
**Math Packets go home randomly. Keep a lookout for the "Math Folder"
in your child's backpack. Most of the math activities do not need to be
returned. Just sign the folder and return it by the date stamped. We will
use the folders all year long.
Homework helps to reinforce what we do here in school. It is an important
part of our curriculum.
