Algebra II Syllabus

COURSE TITLE: Algebra II

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The Algebra II class is a study in  math  concepts formulated in a system to explain one's setting.

TEXTBOOK TITLE: Algebra II by Larson and Published by McDougal Littell

Major Subjects Studied:

     LinearEquations and Functions

     Quadratic Functions

     Polynomials and Polynomial Functions

     Powers, Roots and Radicals

     Exponential and Log Functions

     Rational Equations

     Conic Sections

 

CLASSWORK: Classwork is employed daily to reenforce objectives.

 

QUIZZES: Quizzes are given at any time to evaluate the progress of the student with an objective of the subject. They will be counted as part of the tests points or class participation.

 

TESTS: Tests are a major part of the student student evaluation and an aide to the instructor to judge progress. They will be given every seven to ten days.

Make-up Work: Excused students will be given make-up work.

Grading: Grades are determined by percentage.

Grading Scale:

A = 90 to 100

B = 80 to 089

C = 70 to 079

D = 60 to 069

F = below 060
