How much homework can I expect in math class?

In any of my math classes you can expect to have homework
everyday. I usually assign about 25 problems a day, but I do
usually give 15 to 20 minutes of class time to work on it.

Do you give homework on Wednesdays?

We have a school policy that says we will not give homework on
Wednesdays. If we skip a lesson every Wednesday we will be very
far behind in our book. So for Wednesday your student will have
homework but it will not be due until Friday that same week.

Where do I go when I need help?

Please do not let yourself get to far behind before you ask for
help. It is very important to always tell me if you need extra
help. I will make time for you. We can meet at lunch or before
or after school, or I can get a older student to help as well.
Whatever you need to be successful in math we will make it happen.

What type of field trips can we take this year?

Most of the field trips that I take with students are local, and
for 9th grade history class. I do however, always keep my eyes
peeled for great field trips for math.

What kinds of field trips do we take for Michigan History?

We take several field trips during the school year to places
around Muskegon, and within a couple of hours of Muskegon. These
include the Hackley/Hume Homes, and the Muskegon area museum. We
go to Lansing for a visit to the Michigan Historical Museum and
Capital...always a great day.
We also take two optional field trips for Michigan History. The
first is in
the fall (see the calander for date) and that is canoeing. The
second is
Mackinac Island in the spring. Both days are great fun,
optional, and fall
on a Saturday.
