Weekly Character Counts lesson: Do not run inside the building. Always walk in the hallways and stay to the right especially when going around corners. If you bump into someone, always say excuse me.

 

Good Luck to the 7th/8th grade band on their concert Wednesday night.  The concert will start at 7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

 

6^th grade band today is Woodwinds.

 

No after school band today.

 

You may order your 2011-2012 yearbook this month. Order forms are available in the office.  Forms and money are to be turned in to Mrs. Rice no later than February 29th.  You MUST pre-order your yearbook. 

 

McSauba Ski Days are, weather permitting, coming up this month. Only students with passing grades will participate. Students who are failing a class will be expected to be in school and use the day to catch up.

 

We are at 156,709 pages read. Carry your bookmarks with you. Reminder that anything you read counts all day, including textbook pages in class!  Let’s get to the 1,000,000 mark!!

7^th/8^th grade semi-formal Valentine’s Dance Thursday 4:30-6:30. There is no school for students on Friday, Feb. 17 or Monday, Feb. 20.

 

WinterFest at Mt. McSauba will be March 2nd & 3rd.  Bigger and better than last year.  Visit www.cityofcharlevoix.org Parks and Recreation Link for more information or call 547-3253/3567.  This is a family event with activities for all age categories this year.  Come and join the fun!

Girls basketball home today vs. Harbor Springs 4:30. 7^th grade plays at 4:30, followed by 8^th. No Rayder game today but practice 3:15-4:00 before the 7^th grade game.
