I graduated from Hazel Park High School in 1994; from Eastern Michigan
University in 1998 with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education, specializing
in instrumental education; and from Eastern Michigan again in 2006 with a
Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.
I am married and have two daughters. My hobbies include reading,
cross-stitching, playing music, exploring nature, and going to the movies. I
enjoy the History Channel and Discovery Channel. The students always ask me
what my favorite instrument is, but I honestly don't know because it changes
every week. My favorite colors are purple and orange, the state I would most
like to visit is Alaska, and my favorite food is pizza.
